If you're on a tight budget and don't want a stroller that doubles into a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels, made of Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The frame's base YOYO2 frame, curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month color pack combine to create a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes, with a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The frame's weight is less than a kilo, and is so light you can lift it from the box with one hand.

It's also easy to add or remove adaptors or attachments such as the hood, for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 using reassuring clicks - as well as being machine washable at 30deg to remove stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller after 6 months by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents seeking a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Xplore can be converted from a stroller into the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then select which mode is best for their needs. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months to 5 years old. It comes with a large storage basket that will hold all your needs while on the go.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or large as other wagons, so it may not be suitable for long-distance trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy however, it isn't able to bend as much as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competition and does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also comes with a multi-position reclined seat and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we test, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doorways. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopy sizes.

It took us under three minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing some essential features that we believe you should not compromise on in a double stroller, for example, a larger basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It can be used from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with just a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle everyday bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate during our walk on a stony path. It was able to handle this well, although it seemed a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and fits easily in the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of food. You can also connect it with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller with you on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of many parents when it first appeared. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, including the capacity of the seat to flip between the parent and the world and a huge UPF50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are tough and foam-filled which minimises punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of rough terrain. It was easy to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through narrow streets.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It also stands and can be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes offered with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes come with one action and are color coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has a great dual suspension. It folds by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also very light and durable. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be configured to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be set so that they face each other. They can also be positioned to face the parents. This will help reduce sibling disputes over who sits with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, gear tray snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also has a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great stroller for parents who like to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, such as a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It has a different type of hand brake unlike other models, which is a twist.

The seat is comfortable and has plenty of room to sit, but the seat's depth is less than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold 10 lbs., which is sufficient for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as of yet, but you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and assemble in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and is available in multiple languages.
